Fireworks in Ghent

One of the benefits of living in a rooftop apartment… May the new year be a year full of possibilities, happy thoughts, inspiring encounters and wonderful travels.

  • Indrukwekkende blog. Op een nieuw jaar vol verwondering en kinderlijke onbevangenheid, ongeacht de lengte- en breedtegraad van onze locatie op de aardbol. Curiosity is one of the great secrets of happiness. (Bryant H. McGill)

  • Hey 🙂 This year we are planning to go to Ghent for New Year. Was very happy to se your post 🙂 Could you please tell me which is the best part of Ghent from where we can see and enjoy the New Year fireworks??

    • Hey, glad you found my blog 🙂 The fireworks in Ghent are at Portus Ganda, about 1km from the city centre. You’ll have to get there early though if you want a good spot… Last year the spectacle started at 23pm with a musical show, so I’m guessing this year will be similar. There’s a few good spots to see the fireworks at midnight, send me your e-mail and I’ll send you some tips along with a map! Tine

      • That is ssso nice of you 🙂 My email-id is
